Trillium Montessori had its beginnings in 2006 as Happy Faces Daycare, a small, in-home center. Our high quality of care and close relationships with parents made it possible for us to achieve our goal of growing into a commercial preschool, extending loving, individualized care to more families.

We found our first home for Trillium in Austin and opened it on April 1st, 2014. The satisfaction of our families led to a full grown school with additional space by 2016. Our successes allowed us to expand, creating another, larger center in Round Rock which had its grand opening February 14th, 2017. In Fall of 2021 we are set to open another brand new location in Leander! No matter how big we grow, our core values and philosophy have been and always will be focusing on the progression and all around development of our children.

Our mission to Learn, Grow, and Succeed is the underlying philosophy of providing learning experiences to every age group, enhancing growth in all areas, and helping every child reach their full potential.
Our goal is to have each child step into Kindergarten with great confidence and self esteem and we ensure this through the support, encouragement, and care of our amazing teachers.
Our teachers are early childhood education specialists and all our lead teachers are NAMC certified. Our entire staff have been rigorously trained on top of their essential studies in the Montessori philosophy, principles, and method. All teachers at Trillium Montessori work collaboratively in teams to ensure each classroom environment is stimulating and motivating for the children. Every member of our teaching team is carefully selected, trained, and evaluated to determine if they are capable of adjusting to each child’s learning pace and individual needs. It is imperative to us that our teachers can expertly guide children in exploring new topics and overcoming challenges.
“The greatest sign of success for a teacher… is to be able to say, The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
– Maria Montessori
Trillium Montessori stands out above the rest in our commitment to an individualized care approach, individualized curriculum, facility cleanliness, low teacher to student ratios, and adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.

We have an astounding rate of success with our children moving on to excel in public schools after being provided with the strong academic foundations we helped to build.
Our programs include:
- An Infant program for babies ages 6 weeks to 18 months
