The Trillium Montessori Infant program is run by loving, caring teachers who are specifically trained in a curriculum designed for infants. Our curriculum is structured to meet the developmental needs of babies by implementing carefully planned activities within their daily schedule and providing them with frequent one-on-one attention made possible by our smaller teacher to infant ratios.

Some examples of materials and activities available in the Infant program are:
- Music
- Arts and crafts
- Gym designed for babies
- Sensory activities – paint or orbeez in ziploc bags, sensory mirrors
- Montessori toys
- Activities promoting gross motor skills – water pouring activities with the help of the teacher
- Edible play dough
- Blocks

In this age group, making sure to meet physical, emotional, and social needs is especially important in helping to build an infant’s confidence and trust in themselves and their caregivers. We pride ourselves in offering a clean, safe learning environment and go above and beyond in our sanitization efforts to minimize the potential spreading of germs.
We meet the needs of our infants by feeding them on time, frequent diaper changes, providing nap times with classical music, and encouraging positive social interactions. We include a small activity time where the teacher will sit with a couple of the babies at a time to play, read books, and practice sharing. Our cheerful, upbeat teachers help create a joyful learning environment. We believe keeping our staff happy leads to our infants being healthier, happier, and more successful.
A typical daily schedule includes:
- Morning welcome
- Breakfast
- Free play and blocks
- Puzzle time
- An art activity
- Snack time
- Circle time
- Outside play for walking infants
- Lunch
- Naptime with classical music
- Afternoon snack
- Free play until pick up time
We use an app called Brightwheel to communicate with parents and provide them with daily updates on feeding, diapering, and nap schedules. We will provide snacks and assistance with potty training. Breastfeeding moms are welcome to come in to nurse their babies during the day.
