Get ready for a hauntingly good time at Trillium Montessori’s upcoming Halloween Celebration! This event promises to be a perfect blend of festive fun and educational enrichment, embodying our commitment to joyful, holistic learning.
Costumes, Treats, and Much More
While costumes and treats are certainly part of the excitement, our Halloween Celebration goes beyond the typical trick-or-treat experience. We’ve crafted an event that nurtures our students’ social skills, creativity, and cultural understanding.
What to Expect
The Grand Halloween Parade
The highlight of our celebration is the Halloween parade, where each child will have their moment to shine. Students will proudly showcase their costumes, boosting confidence and self-expression.
Sharing and Caring
We’re putting a Montessori twist on trick-or-treating:
Children will learn the joy of giving by sharing small treats with their classmates.
This activity reinforces our values of community and generosity.
Autumn-Themed Montessori Works
Our classrooms will feature special Halloween and autumn-themed Montessori materials:
Pumpkin life cycle sequencing
Fall leaf color sorting
Halloween-themed practical life exercises
Costume Guidelines
To ensure a comfortable and inclusive environment for all:
- Please avoid overly scary or violent costumes.
- Ensure costumes allow for easy movement and classroom participation.
- We encourage creativity, but please leave toy weapons or valuable accessories at home.
How Parents Can Get Involved
We welcome parent participation to make this event extra special:
Volunteer to help set up cultural learning stations.
Contribute healthy, nut-free treats for sharing.
Assist with costume adjustments during the parade.
